The body and rotor of the Reflex reel are made of durable plastic. It has a metal spool, shallow or deep, depending on the chosen option. The reel runs smoothly and features really good line winding. It is equipped with an instant reverse stop mechanism. The 4+1 bearings are placed only in the most critical areas. It is also worth mentioning that the largest 4000 model has a gear ratio of 4.6:1, making it even more suitable for heavy-duty applications. The remaining sizes have the most universal gear ratio of 5.2:1.
